20 Bible Verses About God’s Character KJV

0 134

Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about God’s character KJV. The scripture makes us understand that we are created in the image and likeness of God. This naturally means, we must have some trait of God in us. It means we ought to be exhibiting God’s character. The people of Antioch only had to meet the apostles because they coin out the name Christian, which means Christ-like. This is because the apostles behaved like Christ everywhere they go. People look at them and didn’t need to see Christ anymore, because they represent Christ.

As believers, we must also show God’s character and traits everywhere we go. But how do we do this when we don’t even know God enough to learn about his character. The apostles lived with Christ for too long that they began to live like him, walk like him, speak like him, and show traits of him. This is because their level of relationship with Christ Jesus was high and that’s why they could fully emulate the trait and image of Christ Jesus.

The more we learn about God and work in his bidding, the more we know about God. Our knowledge of God borders on our intimacy with Him. And our intimacy with Him helps us live better and show God’s character. When people see us, they should see God. Especially as believers, we are the scripture that other people study. So if our lives are not showing God’s character, then the purpose of Evangelism has been defeated. We have compiled a list of 20 bible verses about God’s character. Let’s take time to study them.

You will not live there long but will certainly be destroyed. The LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive among the nations to which the LORD will drive you. There you will worship man-made gods of wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or eat or smell. But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
