Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about mountains and valleys. Our God is Lord overall. He is the God of the sea, land, mountains, and valleys. He created the entire universe. He is the God of all Creation. Mountains and valleys are wonderful works of nature. As significant they are to the eyes, they also have a connotative meaning in the realm of the spirit. Mountains could be a hindrance, valleys could be a problem due to their height. But we serve a God that is greater than any mountain or valley. We serve a God that is greater than all our problems. By His presence alone, stubborn mountains and valleys will flee. At the mention of His name, every high ground is made low.

Recall in the book of Psalm 114 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. The sea saw it and fled: Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped like rams and the little hills like lambs. What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob; Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.

The presence of the Lord made the mountains skip like Rams. When we carry His presence, no mountain or valley will be able to stand in our way. Mountains and Valleys will always stand in our way to greatness. When you are experiencing difficulty in achieving certain goals, those are mountains standing in front of you. Until you defeat that mountain, there is no moving forward. We have compiled a list of 20 bible verses about mountains and valleys.
