Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about new convert.

For the bible says there’s joy in heaven for every new souls that was won for the kingdom of heaven. Remember the parable of the lost sheep. Jesus told us there that He came for both the unbelievers and believers. He wants everyone to enjoy His grace and salvation. For a new convert ,you just started a new journey, a new phase of your life in which you are not familiar with.

When a baby is given birth to, he is first fed milk which will enable him grow and strong,then when he becomes older and bigger he start to crave for meat. Also in our christian journey we are taught the basics when we first give our life to Christ. When we take the bold step of faith ,The kingdom of heaven will welcome us. Then so as not to go back to our old ways we start learning and waiting for our encounter with the holy spirit.

We pray, read the bible, ask questions from people that won’t teach us Doctrines but will teach us what Jesus told us to do. Do not forsake the gathering of the brethren as in their midst alot of things that will help us grow and understand how powerful Jesus’ love is for us will be shared there. This will help us grow and help us totally denounce our old ways. Read the bible verses below;

 

1. Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

 

2. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

 

3. Ezekiel 11:19-20

And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

 

4. Ephesians 4:22-24

To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

6. 2 Peter 1:4
