Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about sickness.

Health is wealth. Those who have been sick before knows how tiring and frustrating being tied to a bed is. Being sick has many disadvantages, you can’t even go about doing your daily activities like every other normal people, you’re stuck in a place and can’t move around freely. This day we bring the good news to us that we should be merry and happy. There’s a great God who is ever ready to heal us and make us whole again. Sickness is a state of being ill and comes in different forms too. One might be sick financially, health wise, and so on. God has promised to make us whole today and heal us completely and make us whole.


Do we remember the story of the woman with the issue of blood in the bible who touched Jesus’ hem and was healed immediately, let’s trust God for complete healing and He will do it for us.
Whatever it is we are suffering from be it heart stroke, high blood pressure, financial stagnation, diabetes, malaria, typhoid, kidney problem, appendicitis, enteritis, to mention a few, God’s word to us this morning is to trust him and He will heal us. Many sick people were brought to Jesus and they went home with testimonies, our testimonies too is around the corner as we have a Powerful Doctor in our corner that will heal us and free us from every infirmities.

 

1. James 5:14-15

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

 

2. Isaiah 40:29-31

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
