Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about Studying.

Wisdom is profitable to direct. The bible says if any man lack wisdom let him ask. It’s a good thing to study and be familiar with things around us. Even the bible says study to show yourself approve. Imagine going for an exam without reading and expecting the holy spirit to take control. It’s absurd right ?. That’s why it’s advisable as Christians that we study like we are not going to pray and pray like we are not going to study.


Studying is devoting your time and attention to acquiring knowledge or an academic subject. As Christians we need growths spiritually, physically, mentally to mention a few. That’s why it’s always advisable to study the word of God, motivating books, books that edify the souls, and the ones filled with insights. Twenty bible verses have been collected in today’s topic to motivate us to read and give us more understanding of the importance of studying.

 

1. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

 

2. 1 John 2:27

But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him.

 

3. Proverbs 2:1-5

My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; yes, if you call out for insight and raise your voice for understanding, if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

He was to teach them the language and literature of the Babylonians.

 

10. Joshua 1:8 

Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
