Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses for Child’s dedication.

Children are Gifts from God . Some parents give birth few days after their marriage while some have delays but we should no that either way God will always bless us with a child that we will call our own. After given birth to our baby, God wants us to remember that He gave us the beautiful gifts and wants us to dedicate the child to Him.

The significance of child’s dedication is that we are telling God that we commit everything about the child to God meaning the child’s future, the child’s present,the child’s life. We want God to forever be with the child.

For our children it’s important we dedicate them to God early because even the bible says teach up a child in the way of the Lord and he will never depart from it. Our children will also benefits from committing their lives to God at a very early age.

For child’s dedication, twenty bible verses have been collected to help us out with the dedication.

 

1. Deuteronomy 6:5-7

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

 

2. Mark 10:13-16

And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

 

3. 1 Samuel 1:27-28

For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. Therefore I have lent him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he is lent to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.
