Today we will be dealing 20 bible verses to read at bedtime.

After going through stress during the day. We all come back home tired and sleepy. After we’ve taken our dinner we get ready to sleep. It is important we know that before we sleep we must pray and read our Bible . Some bible verses have been collected here to study before bedtime. It’s important because it’s our way of asking God to protect us from any evil that might befall us during the night. We need to ask God for protection, and ask His angels do watch over us while we sleep.

Some things might have happened during the day too that we might want to talk to God about before going to bed , we can also seize this opportunity to talk to God about it and when we wake up the next morning we wake up fulfilled,filled and strengthened for the new day.

Once we sleep we have no idea of what happens at night, but since we have handed our night to God , we can sleep deeply and soundly because we know our God has our back. Before sleeping let’s study the word of God and pray with our family. God will continue to protect us in Jesus name. Twenty bible verses have been collected in today’s topic that we can read before our bed time.

 

1. Psalm 91:1-10

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day.

 

2. John 15:5-12

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 3. James 1:18-22
