Most times we call these problems generational problems because they are passed from one generation to another. Abraham’s family had this problem. Barrenness was the problem in that family. They always experience barrenness for years before having children. Abraham experienced it, and Isaac experienced it the same as Jacob. Isaac was better than Ishmael, Jacob was better than Jacob and Reuben was not as prosperous as his brothers.
