Jesus even showed us how important water is when He said all who thirst should come to Him as He is the source of the living water. Some of the usefulness of Water are It has the power to purify, Its used for healing, we use it to cook, It aids digestion and so on.Water was mentioned many times in the bible both in the old and new testament.
Fire is another great element God created, it has both it’s positive and negative uses. Fire is a necessary part of life, and it has many uses just like water such as heating, lighting, protection, cooking, purifying, and destruction among others.
Fire was also mentioned many times in the bible. It was also a way for God to show His presence to His children, and it is also associated with various purposes. Keeping this in mind, here are 20 Bible verses related to fire and water.
1. Luke 3:16
John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
