Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about importance of prayers.

As Christians praying is paramount. It’s our life style. It’s what help us grow as Christians and fulfill our roles as Prayer isn’t about asking God for what we want or desire,, it’s a way of building relationship with God, getting to know Him, have conversations with Him,. Truly we know God sees our heart and know what we want before we even ask Him but He still loves to hear from us because this will help us build a strong relationship with Him.

We can’t even imagine how important prayer is, once we are led to pray we ask for strength, breakthrough ,courage, hope, Inspirations, because it shows you rely on God and acknowledging you can’t do anything without God. The power of prayer and how effective prayer is cannot be over emphasized, some are listed below;

  • Prayer helps us find directions in life
  • Prayer helps us withstand temptations and overcome too. It gives us the strength to fight our carnal desires .
  • Prayer brings us in accordance to God’s will.It helps us know and understand the plans God has for our lives and how patient we should be.
  • Prayer invites the holy spirit to reside and abide with us.
  • Prayer can work miracles
  • Prayer shows us how God’s love is sufficient for us
  • Prayer brings us into the understanding of God’s word and help us to learn how to communicate with GOD.

1. Ephesians 6:18
