Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about Seeking wisdom
Wisdom is the quality of having knowledge , experience, good judgement, to mention a few. We also see that it’s the quality of being wise. Wisdom is a gift from God. As a Christian if you lack wisdom seek from God as in one of Jesus’ preaching He said and I quote “if any man lack wisdom let him ask”. Solomon was called the wise king because he settled disputes amicably, he had good judgement and let us not forget the fact that his wisdom came from God. It was a gift God gave King Solomon.
As an elder in church, parents, leaders ,followers, and so on we have many people around us who look up to us and they sometimes come to us for motivational and inspirational words , we need to ask for the help of the holy spirit who will always give us a sense of direction and also fill our mouth with motivating things to say. Let’s read the following verses on how we can ask God for the gift of wisdom.
1. Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
2. James 1:1-27
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion: Greetings. Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
3. Proverbs 8:11-12
For wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her. “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and I find knowledge and discretion.

I turned my heart to know and to search out and to seek wisdom and the scheme of things, and to know the wickedness of folly and the foolishness that is madness.

10. Proverbs 3:13-18

11. Ephesians 1:16-19

12. Proverbs 24:3-7

13. James 1:5-6
