Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about Peacemaker.

As Christians being a peacemaker is one of the quality we must possess. There’s a saying that people around us no longer read the scripture but read us to see if we really practice what we preach. The bible says we should not only be a listener or a preacher of the word of God, but we must also practice what we preach and do what we preach. Being a peacemaker is a good attribute a Christian must possess. A peacemaker is someone who bring peace especially by reconciling adversaries and the bible says blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. We have to do God’s will so that God can see us as a listener and doer of His word.

Twenty bible verses have been collected to help us understand who a peacemaker is and how we can be a peacemaker so that we can be called children of God.

 

1. Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

 

2. Ephesians 4:1-8

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

 

3. James 3:17-18

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

 

4. Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
