The scripture said no man lays his hands on the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of heaven. As a new Believer, you are mostly the target of the enemy. This time the enemy is not after you to kill you, he is after your soul. He is all out doing what it takes to ensure that he wins you over. That’s why you must be well-grounded in the word of God.

 

As a new believer, you are almost like a baby. You have not had attained the stage of eating solid food. All you could still take is liquid. In the kingdom of heaven, there is a growth process. No man is allowed to be static. No man is allowed to be stagnant, either you grow as a believer or you die. And you need the word of God to grow your faith. When you are at the baby level, you drink milk, a time is coming when you begin to eat solid food.

 

The things of God are a mystery. New believers have an extent to which they can understand the things of the spirit. The more you grow, the better you understand the things of God.
