God had to take away His blessing and protection upon the life of Job. He was inflicted with pain and suffering, he lost his children in one day, he lost everything he had, and was inflicted with terrible disease and sickness.

Job lived in this difficult time for so long that even his wife begged that he curse God and die instead of living in pain and suffering. But Job still trusted God despite his challenges and in the end, God came through for him. We must understand that in a difficult time, God is never late. His responses are timely. Charity suffereth long, and is kind ; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly , seeketh not her own , is not easily provoked , thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity , but rejoiceth in the truth ; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth : but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
