Today we will be dealing with trusting God in difficult times Bible verses. The scripture houses diverse verses of the scripture that admonish us to wait and trust God during difficult times. John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” The nature of humans is such that always want peace and tranquility. No man loves pain or tribulation. When we go through difficult times, our soul will long for an escape from that tribulation. That’s when seeking the face of God and expecting miracles to happen fast. But the scripture has told us that in life we will face tribulations, we will go through pain, but we should be of good faith because Christ has conquered all.

During the difficult time, it always seems like God is late or He is not there at all to listen to our prayers. We pray fervently but it seems probably the prayer is not getting to heaven or there is no one in heaven to receive our prayers. It takes grace to keep trusting God in difficult times. Let’s take the life of Job for example. The accuser (Devil) went to God claiming it was because God had blessed Job that’s why Job remained faithful. God had to take away His blessing and protection upon the life of Job. He was inflicted with pain and suffering, he lost his children in one day, he lost everything he had, and was inflicted with terrible disease and sickness.

Job lived in this difficult time for so long that even his wife begged that he curse God and die instead of living in pain and suffering. But Job still trusted God despite his challenges and in the end, God came through for him. We must understand that in a difficult time, God is never late. His responses are timely. The scripture said in my time I will make things right. Let’s take a look at some scriptural verses that will help us trust God in difficult times.

1. Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

2. Joshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

3. Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand”

4. Psalm 33:4

For the word of the LORD is right and true; He is faithful in all He does.

5. Romans 8:28

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

6. Matthew 6:26-27

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”

7. Psalm 62:8

Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge.

8. John 14:1

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me.”

9. 1 John 5:14

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

10. Psalm 20:7

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

11. Isaiah 26:3-4

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD Himself, is the Rock eternal.”

12. Psalm 32:10

Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORD’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in Him.

13. 2 Timothy 4:18

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

14. Psalm 5:11

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.

15. Psalm 46:10

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

16. Jeremiah 17:7-8

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

17. Isaiah 26:3-4

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

18. Psalm 146:3-5

Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

19. Revelation 11:1-19

Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. And if anyone would harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, this is how he is doomed to be killed.

20. James 1:2-4

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about faithfulness to others. God is faithful to us, we must be faithful to others. One of the biggest problems in society today is the lack of faithfulness among men. Public office holders will lie to the people just so they can vote them into power, after the election and they are announced the winner, they will turn into a beast. No man wants to take responsibility anymore, no man wants to be committed to serving others, people are no longer loyal, honesty has become a thing of the past, responsible Christians are becoming very hard to find.

Husbands are no longer faithful to their wives and vice versa. The world is rapidly degenerating into a place of lawlessness as moral decadence becomes the order of the day. We owe ourselves a duty of care. We are created in the image and likeness of God. We must embrace faithfulness. Although it is impossible to act like God in certain ways, however, we can be faithful to one another. An employee can be faithful to an employer by discharging his duties effectively.

Faithfulness brings commitments. The problem today is that no one wants to be committed. God is committed to serving us regardless of what we do His faithfulness to us is unwavering. Our Faithfulness only lies with the people we love and care about. And who are the people we love, they are either our family or kinsmen. Our faithfulness only centers around the benefit we want to get from a person. Faithfulness is an act of love. It expects nothing in return. The world will be a better place if men become faithful. This explains why we have highlighted 20 bible verses about faithfulness to others.

1. Matthew 25:22

He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
