Contentment means a state of happiness and satisfaction. Being contented with what we have is a good quality a Christian should possess. Being greedy does not show that we are good Christians. Being greedy can make us sin and go against God’s commandments for us. Some of the benefits of being contented with what we have are;

  • we have peace
  • we have God’s joy and blessings
  • we are happy and not easily moved by our friends, neighbors, acquaintances success as we have the faith to hold on tightly to God because we know that He will give us our own blessings in due time.
  • contentment is a gift from God
  • we won’t be easily led to sin and go against God’s will and purpose for our lives.
