Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about doubts.

Doubt is a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction. Doubt comes in when we are not sure of something which means that our mind has not been convinced enough. Thomas was an example of a disciple of Jesus in the bible that doubted God until he was convinced by Jesus that He is alive.

We see that having doubt has affected many of us in our christian journey. It serves as a detriment to us and keeps us from moving forward. Once God have spoken we should believe and not have doubt . One way to not have doubt is by asking the help of the holy spirit. The holy spirit brings conviction and when we are convinced that it is well and whatever we prayed for has been answered we have peace of mind.


As Christians, if we doubt God it will affect our growth and can make us to get Impatient which is a bad quality of a Christian. Twenty bible verses have been collected to help us to stop having doubts as Christians and believe what God says concerning our lives.

 

1. James 1:6

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

 

2. Matthew 21:21

And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.

 

3. Mark 11:22-25

And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
