Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about God’s choosen.

14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Matthew 22:14

A king once prepared a banquet and invited his people, some came and some ignored his invitation, the guests who ignored the invitation of the king can be likened to the people of the world and the King, God.

Although christ had died for the sin of everyone, be it a Jew or a Gentile but it takes receiving this salvation with gladness and accepting Christ as your Lord and personal saviour to be truly inducted into the feast of the Saint.So we have alot of Men who ignores the call to repentance but prefers the hustle and bustle of darkness and angers the Lord with their activities.

We also have those who hear his voice but come to him unprepared. They are churchgoers but do not portray the lifestyle of a believer, being comfortable with the lifestyle of Sodom. Wearing filthiness like a Garment. Scripture says “This set of people will be cast away”. Do not get carried away by the system of the world that you forget your identity in Christ.

Desire the kingdom of God and the fellowship of his son (Jesus). We should always pray that our Dear Lord should help us to be sensitive to His beckoning. He should teach us to walk circumspectly as the wise and to prioritize Him always and everyday.

 

1. 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

 

2. John 15:16

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

 

3. Ephesians 1:3-4

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love.

I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will.

13. Psalm 33:12

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!

 

14. Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
