Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about healing a broken heart after death. Death is one of the most horrific human experiences. Many times it is not about the dead but those behind. We are confronted with the problem of accepting that the person we love and cherish so much is gone and we would not see them again. It is very difficult to accept this fact. I remember back in 2017 when I lost my cousin to the cold of hands of death. A young promising lady at that time just died like that and all her dreams and aspirations came to a permanent halt too. I could not just accept the fact that she was gone, I kept asking God why it has to be my cousin? The pain was unbearable and I cried for months.

At one point, I try to avoid anything that will make me remember her because anytime I remember her, the pain of her demise struck my heart again. All along, I left God out of the situation and I was trying to heal that pain and heartbreak myself. All the modalities I adopted failed me, it was at that point that I cried to God for help. The heartbreak was eating me deep from the inside and I was fast becoming a shadow of myself.

I began to ask God for help to overcome the pain of the heartbreak caused by her death and I started reading diverse blogs. I came across some scriptural verses and that was the point of my breakthrough. There is something about the word of God, it is POWERFUL. It has the capacity to penetrate deep into the heart, go to the source of the problem and stop the pain. The word of God helped me accept the fact that my beautiful cousin was gone completely from this world but with an assurance of being reunited with her someday in the glorious paradise prepared for all God’s Children. And since then, my heartbreak started healing gradually and in no time I defeated that pain.

For as many going through the same pain currently, I pray that God will help you overcome that pain. I will be sharing with you 20 bible verses about healing a broken heart after death.
