WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING JESUS?
John 6 vs 2. And a great crowd was following Him because they had seen the signs (miracles) which He [continually] performed upon those who were sick.The question is why are we following Jesus? Is it for the mundane things that won’t stand the test of time of for eternal things. When Jesus fed the people with fishes and bread, they came back the following day not because of the love of the Lord at heart but because of what they want to eat.Men were used to the giving of Jesus, forgot the giver and the purpose of giving because Jesus gave them those miracles just to prepare their mind for the main reason why He came but when it was time for the word that can give eternal life,they said”who can bear”.The faith that we are passing is the faith of receiving,to posses and so on of which should not be.Our following must be out of genuine love that He first loved us and gave Himself for us. We must love God unconditionally and not out of the things we get from Him
