Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about Meditation.

Meditation is an important aspect of our Christian journey. This way we are communicating with God . Meditation is a language of our soul. When we are mediating it’s just us and our creator. There’s no third party.

This is a major aspect of a Christian life. The word means to murmur or talk to yourself, in which is just your father who art in heaven that can hear you. Just like how Hannah mother of Samuel was meditating in the old testament and the prophet Eli thought she was drunk. Meditation is a language of your soul to God. It’s good to communicate with Him as He is ever ready to listen and answer you.

God’s word is alive and it’s the only truth we can depend on. We must meditate on it day and night . The notion that it is only when we are in trouble or we need God’s help that we should ask Him for help is wrong. The book of Joshua said we should meditate on God’s word every time and the word of the Lord should not depart out of our mouths. Which means God also values meditating. When we study the scripture we have to sit and ponder on what we have read ,what it means to us and how we can add it to our daily lives. Twenty bible verses have been collected to help us know the importance of meditation.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches.
