Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about pain and suffering being temporary.

I’m sure we all hate suffering but the fact that pain is part of life can not be over emphasized. At one time or the other in our life humans are bound to feel pain and suffer all we can hope for when that time come is God should see us through and help us overcome.

There’s a popular saying that pain only last for the night and joy comes in the morning this is to tell us that no matter what we’re facing or going through our pain and suffering is only temporary but not Permanent. It’s not meant to make us weak it’s to make us stronger.

When Christians go through pain in life it helps us to get back on the path of righteousness.The best way to overcome Pain is to seek help from God and rely on Him believing that He will do more than what we have asked of Him.

Also we can seek words of encouragement from the bible which we help us and direct us on how to overcome challenges. I hope and pray that as we go through this bible verses together we get and seek the comfort we want.

 

1. Revelation 21:4

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

 

2. 2 Corinthians 1:3-8

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.

 

4. 1 Peter 5:9-10

Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
