Today, we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about resisting the devil

RESIST THE DEVIL

Luke 22: 3 But [then] Satan entered into Judas, called Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve [apostles].

Just like the other 11 who were called by the master to follow, learn and become apostles at the end of His stay on earth,Judas was also called. Judas Iscariot had weaknesses that the master could have helped him get rid of just like peter had anger weakness, Thomas has trust weakness.

Judas Iscariot gave himself over to the devil and he made use of all that was given to him. The purpose of the devil is to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came so that we can have life even in abundance. Judas forgot that he who covers his sins will not prosper but he who confesses his sin and forsake them shall obtain mercy.

Just the way Jesus wants to gain access into our lives so does the devil but we have the power in the word to resist the devil via the word and the sword of the spirit

Prayer:- via the word which is the sword of the spirit,I resist the devil in Jesus name,Amen

This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires.
