­Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about revelation. What is revelation? Revelation is defined as the communication of knowledge to man by a divine or supernatural agency. A revelation comes from God. It is a natural knowledge given to man by God to make things easy for a man. Through revelation, a man can know the mind of God concerning a situation and act accordingly.

A man that has revelation will not be misled. The scripture said for as many that who are led by the spirit of God are called the sons of God. The deep things of God are revealed through revelation. John was in the spirit and he saw a deep revelation of God. Through the revelation of God, the book of John and revelation were written.

When we have a revelation about our life, it gives us direction about our life. Life is full of so many uncertainties. But when we have a revelation of who we are, we know how to run our race effectively. Joseph could run with the purpose of his existence through the revelation he had about himself. If God had not shown Joseph the revelation of himself, he would be lost forever.

1. Revelation 10:1-8

Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire. He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he called out, the seven thunders sounded. And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.” And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.

4. Revelation 13:1-18

And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. 5. Ephesians 1:17-19

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great mighty.

 

6. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
