Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about school.

School is an educational institution where people go to acquire knowledge. We must not quench the thirst for knowledge. That’s why school is very important. Jesus Christ laid more emphasis on acquiring knowledge. 2 Timothy 2:15 Carefully study to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Jesus studied vigorously before He started his ministry. The scripture recorded that Christ didn’t start his mission on earth until he was 30 years. From age 12 Christ has been in the synagogue learning. The synagogue there can be likened to a school where people go to acquire knowledge.

We don’t give ourselves to learning. We don’t give ourselves knowledge. People no longer invest their time in studying. There are parents who don’t see any reason for their children to go to school. While you may teach them a few things at home, the school is a citadel of learning where they learn things that will make them relevant in the changing world.

The scripture said study to show yourself approved unto God. This means the lack of knowledge can hinder from knowing God and becoming true workmanship. You should allow your children to go to school. For children whose interest has been shifted away from school, you should return to school.
