Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about the doer of the word of God.
A doer of the word of God follows the word of God completely, obeying everything that was said in it. As christians the word of God should reflect in everything we do when we are in the church and when we are not in church. God loves those who follow His word when they’re being watched and when they are not.
We have those who listen to the word of God alone but don’t practice it in their daily activities and we have the ones who follow the will of God accordingly. Let’s be the type of christian that not only read the bible but practice what the bible says. Our life should be a reflection of who Jesus is as we are being watched by unbelievers who are ready to criticize us when we fail to practice what we preach. 1. James 1:22-25
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
2. Matthew 7:24-27
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
