Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about true love between man and woman. True love is hard to find these days. What we have now is deceit. Man will deceive a woman into thinking he’s in love with her just because he wants to have sex with her. A woman will also deceive a man into thinking she’s in love with him, whereas what she wants is his money. Deceit and pretense have become the order of the day.

Meanwhile, this is not the type of love God wants us to have for one another. God wants us to express the type of love that He has towards mankind. The scripture said For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.

True love doesn’t bargain or negotiate. It is not placed on condition. It forgives easily and freely. Some men can’t forgive their wives when they are offended. Likewise, some women can forgive their husbands when they cross them. Genuine love doesn’t see mistakes and it tolerates regardless of the number of times you are offended. This is the type of love that Christ has for us. And this is the type of love that He wants us to have for one another.
