Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses for night prayer. The evening is an important time of the day. As the sun sets and people return to their homes to rest after the hurdle of the day, the evening is a time to reflect on the things God helped us achieve during the day and pray for more for the next day.

The scripture has so many encouraging, Inspiring, and exhorting verses. These bible verses will help you channel your thoughts to God as you lay on your bed to sleep at night. In most cases, the next is settled by our prayers the night before. As you reflect on the grace of God, you will learn to thank Him better for the grace you enjoyed during the day.

Also, you anticipate a greater one the next day. By doing this, you push the hands of God to work even better in your life the next day. That’s why it is important always to end the day with God. As you have started the day with God, you must ensure to end it with God. So before you close your eyes to sleep at night, use the following 20 Bible verses to pray.

 

1. Philippians 4:6-7

Do, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

 

2. Psalm 121:1-8

I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber, indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
