Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses redemption.

We (christians and non believers) were bought with a price. What is the price?. It is the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross of Calvary. Jesus was beaten, abused, spat on, flogged, imprisoned, denied all for our sakes. We have been redeemed and totally freed from destruction. God’s Love for us is eternal and unquestionable. We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. By His stripes we have been made whole and complete.

A lamb that was willing without second thought and laid His life for us so that salvation and redemption can be ours. Jesus loves us immensely. Every Days of our lives should be used in referencing God and worshipping Him because He deserves more from us. We were redeemed so that we can be free from generational curses and sins. Redemption has granted us all free access to our God , we don’t even need anyone’s help anymore to talk to God

We’ve been redeem so we can access throne of grace freely without any guilt. That’s why God is calling us all today to accept Him into our lives . One of the benefits of redemption is that we now have the Holy Spirit who lives with us day and night. The holy spirit is our teacher, comforter, friend and so on.

The bible verses below have been collected to help us see more benefits of Jesus dieing for us and also bring to our understanding the importance of redemption.

 

1. Ephesians 1:7

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.

 

2. Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

 

3. Colossians 1:20-22

And through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him.

 

4. 1 Peter 1:18-19

Knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.

 

5. Romans 3:24-26

And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

 

6. Hebrews 9:15

Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

 

7. Isaiah 43:1-2

But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

 

8. Revelation 5:9-10

And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.

 

9. Ephesians 5:1-10

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

 

10. Numbers 3:46-51

And as the redemption price for the 273 of the firstborn of the people of Israel, over and above the number of the male Levites, you shall take five shekels per head; you shall take them according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel of twenty gerahs), and give the money to Aaron and his sons as the redemption price for those who are over.” So Moses took the redemption money from those who were over and above those redeemed by the Levites. From the firstborn of the people of Israel he took the money, 1,365 shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary.

 

11. Job 19:25-27

For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. My heart faints within me!

 

12. Romans 3:25

Whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

 

13. Romans 6:4

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

 

14. Numbers 3:49

So Moses took the redemption money from those who were over and above those redeemed by the Levites.

Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.

For thus says the Lord: “You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money.

 

17. Leviticus 25:51

If there are still many years left, he shall pay proportionately for his redemption some of his sale price.

 

18. Leviticus 25:29

If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, he may redeem it within a year of its sale. For a full year he shall have the right of redemption.

 

19. 1 John 4:1

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

 

20. Leviticus 25:24

And in all the country you possess, you shall allow a redemption of the land.
