20 Salvation Scriptures KJV

Today we will be dealing with 20 salvation scriptures KJV. Salvation is the good news of Christ. The redemption of our soul from the damnation of death into the eternal life of Christ Jesus. Before the coming of Christ, man continues to wallow in the toxic of sin and iniquity. The blood of the lamb used for sacrifice was not sufficient enough to save man from the damnation of sin and death. There was a reason for greater blood to be shed. Christ offered to be the sacrificial lamb that will be used for the redemption of man. First, his death on the cross of Calvary redeemed us from the bondage of sin. However, it is not automatic. The first thing is believing in the death and resurrection of Christ. Once we believe this, we have salvation. And once we have salvation, we are redeemed already.

Salvation is the principal thing that separates us from the rest of the world. You may have seen someone ask Are you saved? This question may sound awkward. But take it or leave it, whoever has not accepted Christ as Lord and Savior is not saved yet. And when you are saved yet, eternal life is not certain. Beyond the physical things we see on earth, beyond the pleasures and good things of life is a home that is made for all God’s children. A place where darkness has no power to separate the day from night, a place where there will be no pain, anguish, death, or sorrow. A place where we will all live together in peace and harmony in the company of the immeasurable number of angels.

If the world is this terrible with chaos, despair, destruction, and yet there is still no hope of heaven, that means the hope of salvation has been defeated. But thanks to Christ Jesus who promised us a better place in the book of John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Let’s read the 20 salvation scriptures to give us a better understanding of what salvation truly is.

1. Ephesians 2:8-9

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

2. Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

3. Titus 3:5

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

4. Matthew 7:21

4. Acts 16:30-33

And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

5. John 3:16-18

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

6. Psalm 62:1

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

7. Acts 28:28

Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

8. Acts 2:38

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

9. Mark 16:16

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

10. John 3:17-21

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

11. Romans 10:9-10

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

15. Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

21. Titus 2:11-12

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
