25 Bible Verses About God’s Covenant
Today we will be dealing with 25 Bible verses about God’s covenant.
What do we understand by the word covenant? Covenant isn’t just an ordinary word according to the scripture. It was the beginning to the story of God’s people. Covenant means a binding agreement, a legal contract between two or more people and can also be explained as a seal between two or more parties or people. Then covenant between people was seen as a big deal which an ordinary words of the mouth can’t break, it really carried weight. Some even went as far as sealing it with blood and whosoever was the first to break the covenant might end up dieing.
If humans could go to the extreme to keep a word of agreement they made , why can’t we trust God to fulfill his promises over our lives. Our God is a covenant keeping God. We saw that in the bible He made a covenant with our father Abraham which was fulfilled, also do we remember the promise He made with Noah not to destroy the earth again.
He also kept His word. What has been the covenant God has made with us that is probably making us feel depressed and sad because He hasn’t fulfilled it yet, the bible verses we’ve collected which will be shared below will help us understand and know more about our Covenant keeping God. Once He makes a covenant with you trust God to keep and fulfill it.
