Today we will be dealing with 25 bible verses about strength and courage. Strength is the physical or spiritual ability to do a difficult task. Courage is the quality of spirit that allows you to face danger without fear. A man can possess the strength to do something but lacks the courage to take on the challenge. And a man could have the courage but lack the strength to get it done. These two qualities complement one another and they are very important in the life of a Christian. As Christians, the scripture said Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We are not in battle with flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in dark places. For us to conquer these powers and principalities we need strength and courage. While strength helps us conquer during the war, courage gives us the power not to be intimidated by those powers. Any believer that lacks strength and courage will be trampled upon by the enemy. The children of Isreal lacked strength and courage before the Philistines and for days, they were badly intimidated by the Philistines soldier. Until David came. Although the young David doesn’t have the physical strength to fight Goliath he has the courage to challenge him to a fight. When a man can face his fears, strength will come.

The enemy understands that the strength of a man that knows God is limitless that why the enemy would rather play on the courage of any believer. When we lose our courage to fear, we lose the strength to keep fighting. That’s why we have compiled these 25 bible verses about strength and courage.
