There will be times when it seems our problems are too big for God to handle. Sometimes we may pray and it seems no one is listening to our prayers. The scripture never promised that we will not be tried in life, however, it admonishes us to be cheerful because he has conquered the world. There is power in the word of God. As it carries the power to defeat the enemy in face of battle, also it carries the capacity to strengthen and give us courage in difficult times. The scripture recorded that after Christ was tested by the devil, the angel of the Lord appeared to him and ministered to Him the word of God to serve as a refill to His energy.

 

God has promised us that when the time is right, He will make things happen. However, it is not easy to stay in the waiting room of the Lord for long especially when what we need is a breakthrough from a difficult situation. We need the strength of God to keep hoping and never stop believing that God is powerful to take care of our problems. The trouble of life will wear us out, it will break our spirit if we don’t have the energy to keep standing.
