Every Christian parent must ensure that their teenage girl child is exposed to the word of God. If there was any time to inculcate the habit of studying the word into a young girl, it is when they are teenagers. At this stage, their level of understanding is big enough to assimilate something about God and the scripture. Also, their mind is calm enough to accommodate the entrance of God’s word. There are so many things that could stop a girl child from standing firm in Christ. The world has degenerated into a state of lack of morality. The street is filled with so many adult girls without a definite vision or purpose for their lives. This is because they have not been adequately exposed to the word of God.
The word of God is capable of influencing the life of anyone positively. It teaches us the way of the Lord and tells us the mind of God for our lives. As teenagers, you must learn to study the scripture. The good thing about the scripture is that it has something for everyone regardless of age, status, or race. The scripture is universal. 1. Deuteronomy 31:6
