Today we will be dealing with 25 Psalm verses about faith. The scripture in the book of Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We must have faith as believers. The scripture told us that without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. It is impossible to get anything from God when we lack faith. First, we must have faith that God truly exists and He is powerful enough to grant answers to all our prayers.

 

Our lack of faith will rob us of so many things from God. A man who doesn’t have faith in God will pray tirelessly and nothing will happen. This is because the first step towards answered prayers is believing that God truly exists and that He is powerful enough to grant answers to our prayers. How do you expect a gift from someone you barely even know? Our level of relationship with God determines the level of our faith. That’s why we must strive hard to ensure that our relationship with God is strengthened all the time.

For us to know must about the work of faith, we will highlight 25 Psalm verses about faith. These biblical verses are carefully selected from the book of Psalms, let’s take time to study them to better increase our faith.

 

1. Psalm 71:1-6

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me; turn your ear to me and save me. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel. For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother’s womb. I will ever praise you.

 

2. Psalm 17:6-8

I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings.

 

3. Psalm 3:3-5

But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. 4 I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.

 

4. Psalm 37:3-4

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

 

5. Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 6. Psalm 18:2

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

 

7. Psalm 20:7 

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

 

8. Psalm 23:4 

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
