Today we will be dealing with trusting God in difficult times Bible verses. The scripture houses diverse verses of the scripture that admonish us to wait and trust God during difficult times. John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” The nature of humans is such that always want peace and tranquility. No man loves pain or tribulation. When we go through difficult times, our soul will long for an escape from that tribulation. That’s when seeking the face of God and expecting miracles to happen fast. But the scripture has told us that in life we will face tribulations, we will go through pain, but we should be of good faith because Christ has conquered all.

During the difficult time, it always seems like God is late or He is not there at all to listen to our prayers. We pray fervently but it seems probably the prayer is not getting to heaven or there is no one in heaven to receive our prayers. It takes grace to keep trusting God in difficult times. Let’s take the life of Job for example. The accuser (Devil) went to God claiming it was because God had blessed Job that’s why Job remained faithful. God had to take away His blessing and protection upon the life of Job. He was inflicted with pain and suffering, he lost his children in one day, he lost everything he had, and was inflicted with terrible disease and sickness.

Job lived in this difficult time for so long that even his wife begged that he curse God and die instead of living in pain and suffering. But Job still trusted God despite his challenges and in the end, God came through for him. We must understand that in a difficult time, God is never late. His responses are timely. The scripture said in my time I will make things right. Let’s take a look at some scriptural verses that will help us trust God in difficult times.
