Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about being helpful. As believers, we are supposed to be helpful to people around us, our community, and the nation at large. We are not meant to burden other people, we are not meant to be the reason for people’s downfall.
You don’t have to wait until someone is desperately in need of your help before you tender it. When they need prayer, pray for them. When they need food, give them. If they need cloth, give them cloth. The scripture taught that people will be denied in paradise because they fail to help the people around them.
How that Christ said leave my sight you workers of iniquity when I was naked you didn’t give me a cloth. I was hungry you didn’t give me food. They asked when did we see you they refuse to do all this. Christ said when you fail to do for the people around you, that means you have not done it for me.
When you are helpful, you are doing the will of God. And God is happy when you bring happiness to the face of another person. We have curated a list of 20 Bible verses about being helpful. May these verses show you the real importance of being helpful to others.
1. Acts 20:35
In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.
2. Matthew 25:35-40
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
