20 Bible Verses About Money

0 118

Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about money. There is popular parlance that the love of money is the root of all evil. This is not entirely true. The lack of money is the root of all evil. While the Bible teaches us not to focus our gaze on things below but things above, we still can’t do much without money.

A man that doesn’t have money is vulnerable to the antics of the enemy. He could fall for the temptation of stealing or embezzling funds. God understands that we need a level of comfort and convenience to serve Him well. God is better served when we live in abundance. Little wonder the scripture said in the book of Philippians 4:19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Still, regardless of how much we strive to get money, it must not affect our spirituality and the thirst to know God better. The scripture said to seek first the kingdom of heaven and its righteousness and all other things shall be added to it. When we seek the kingdom of heaven, God in His Infinite wisdom will bless us abundantly because He knows we need comfort to serve him better.
