Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about consecration.

Consecration is dedicating your life fully to God. God is the Alpha and Omega of our lives. Dedicating our lives fully to Him is a good thing to do as a Christian. Consecration means that we decided to leave behind our old ways and bad ways that were not glorifying God and making ourselves sacred and holy. As Christians our lives should be consecrated to God ,our moments,our days, our lifestyles. Our service to God must be holy and acceptable to God.

Jesus is a sacred being. He is holy and while He was on here on earth, He dedicated Himself fully to God and stayed away from all sort of uncleanliness. Someone wearing white garment must not stay beside a palm oil seller. Consecration is a very important aspect of our Christian faith. The bible spoke at length concerning it. 1. Romans 12:1-2

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

 

2. 1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.
