Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about home and family. There is a distinct difference between a house and a home. And there is a clear difference between a man and woman living together and family. When God established the institution of family, one of the purposes of it is to create a home. While a house is just a physical building or structure, a home is the peaceful coexistence of people living in that house. There are so many people who have a house but do not have a home. And there are so many people who have people around them but still lack the warm comfort of a family.

Home and family are built on the concept of love. When love is missing, there won’t be tolerance from members of the family. And how can humans live together when tolerance is missing? it will be difficult. The Lord wants us to live together in peace and harmony. When the home is not settled, the family will be in shambles. And when the family is in shambles the children will suffer for it. The first agent of socialization for every child is the family. But when there is no love, the child will be raised with the bitterness of heart and this is what the enemy wants.

How beautiful is it for people to live in peace and harmony? The home should be a place of refuge. It should be a place where we find love and acceptability when we are rejected outside. It should be a place where we find strength. The home should be a prayer ground. The family should be our Greatest intercessors. That’s why the home and family should be our greatest allies when we need one. We have compiled a list of 20 Bible verses about home and family.
