Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about humanity. We have watched the world degenerate into a place of chaos and destruction simply because people have pride in the interest of their religion over humanity. Being a good person is all about prioritizing humanity above every other thing.

The world would not have collapsed this far if only we have more humans than religious scholars. Just a few weeks ago in Nigeria, we saw how some youths pounced on a young lady that was accused of blasphemy. She was stoned to death and her body was burnt. Her remains were left in the public for anyone to find.

Worse became worst when even more people defended the gruesome killing of that young lady by teaming youths of a religious sect. Then it struck me how far the world has fallen. How we have lost our sense of humanity due to love and allegiance to our religious doctrines. May I state this clearly and unequivocally, humanity comes first before any religion?

Little wonder Christ taught us that the greatest of all commandments is love. The heart of love brings out our human side. It pushes us to the forefront of our humanity. Love gives us the sense of identity that first we are humans before we became religious. Regardless of our differences, we all are humans. And we must endeavor to treat ourselves with love and care.

We have compiled a list of 20 Bible verses about humanity. Take time to study them. Let these Bible verses teach you how to love other people.
