20 Bible Verses About Jesus’ Personality

0 132

Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about Jesus’ personality.

Jesus is our standard of living as Christians. After accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then in our bible study, we begin to study who Jesus is, how He died for us, how He defeated death on our behalf to give us eternal life with Him, and how Jesus came to the world to fight for all of us both the sick and the healthy and made His salvation available for everyone. Jesus is so great that He forgave the people who offended Him and killed Him.

Jesus has a great personality. He taught in the temple and taught many people that wished to listen about His Father in heaven and won many souls to His side to give them eternal life. All these attributes we have heard about are what we should emulate as Christians and not discriminate or condemn anyone. We should remember that Jesus said we shouldn’t condemn anyone as it’s not our place to do so. Twenty bible verses have been collected to help us understand how to love Jesus and emulate His personality as Christians.

1. Romans 12:4-6

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith.

2. 1 Corinthians 12:14-18

For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.

3. Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

4. John 8:12

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

5. Hebrews 10:22

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

6. Philippians 2:1-10

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.

7. Galatians 4:1-10

I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything, but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father. In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.

8. Colossians 3:1-10

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

9. John 4:1-8

Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John (although Jesus himself did not baptize, but only his disciples), he left Judea and departed again for Galilee. And he had to pass through Samaria. So he came to a town of Samaria called Sychar, near the field that Jacob had given to his son Joseph.

10. 1 John 4:1-10

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.

11. Titus 3:5

He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.

12. 1 Corinthians 2:16

For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

13. Isaiah 42:8

I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.

14. 1 Thessalonians 3:12

And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you.

15. Philippians 2:10

So that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.

16. Luke 23:34

And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.

17. John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

18. 1 Timothy 2:5

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

19. Ephesians 5:26

That he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word.

20. Philippians 2:5

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.
