Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about those who are mourning.

Grieving is a deep sorrow that is caused especially by someone’s death. When Grieving it brings intense pains and can make one feel hopeless. The good news in today’s topic is to tell us that we have a Father that will not leave us to be comfortless or hopeless.

God loves us so much that He wants us to be happy always. When Grieving or mourning our loved ones we should turn to God for help as He alone can help us through the pains we might be going through. God’s word is for everybody and He has promised in His word that He will give those who mourn beauty for their ashes.

Twenty bible verses have been collected together in today’s topic to help us read to people around us that needs comfort and also can be read by us too when we need to find comfort and joy in the word of God.

 

1. Matthew 5:4

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

 

2. Isaiah 61:2-3

To proclaim the year of the Lord‘s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.
