Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about opportunities in life. There is a popular parlance “opportunity comes but once”. This is the philosophy of man and not of God. God is the mastermind of opportunities. He can bring opportunity to man anytime and anywhere. However, it is possible that a man misses an opportunity at diverse times. Until a man positions himself in the right standing with God, opportunities will only come and go to waste. To fully utilize every given opportunity in life, a man must have Spiritual sensitivity and discernment.

The first time Jacob had the opportunity of meeting God, he lacked Spiritual sensitivity and discernment. That explains why Jacob slept off and he didn’t know how when God was around. It was after he woke from a slumber that he lamented and God was here and I know not. Genesis 28:16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.”

We must be spiritually alert and sensitive to know when God is throwing an opportunity at us. We must also have the spirit of discernment to identify the one that came from God and the one that came from Satan. Sometimes, the enemy could present an opportunity that looks so enticing and convincing to man. It takes a man who is endowed with the spirit of discernment to identify where the opportunity is coming from.

For as many of you that desire opportunities in life, God is ready to present them to you. We have compiled a list of 20 bible verses about opportunities in life. These bible verses will teach you how to be in the right standing with God. Also, you will be made to know how to identify opportunities that are from God and the ones from the devil. As you pray and go about your daily activities, study and apply these bible verses to attract opportunities in life.
