Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about pain and death
What does the Bible say about Death? How did the bible say we should mourn those who are no longer with us?. Death is inevitable our prayer is we should live long to fulfill our destiny. We will all experience death in life and the loss of our loved ones. And when this happens we feel all sorts of emotions, grief, anger, uncertainty and some even feel lost . This is a reality life has thrown at us.
The bible has told us that God promised to be with us, comfort us, help us get back to our daily lives and provide peace in the midst of pain. Also His word of encouragement in the bible has assured us that eternal life has been promised to those who died in Christ Jesus so we shouldn’t be scared and allow those who are no longer with us to rest in Christ.
In today’s devotion we have bible verses that can help you process the grief of death as well as Bible verses about life after death. We hope as we read through these verses we find the peace and comfort in the love and divinity God has for those who mourn for those who mourn shall be comforted.
1. Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
2. 1 Corinthians 15:51-57
Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
