Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about peace makers.
The bible spoke at length about peacemakers. We see that God holds then in high value and also favours them alot. God values peace on earth, so whoever brings peace to his neighbor or the gathering of christians can be called a child of God. Peacemakers are those who bring about peace especially reconciling adversaries. They settle fights amongst two or more people. They stand for justice and ensure there is peace in a gathering. God loves a peacemaker.
The Bible says “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God”. This shows how important God sees peacemakers. As Christians we should do the will of our Father by ensuring the world is peaceful. A peacemaker ensures people make peace with themselves, ensures smooth running of the organisation.
As Christians we can help people settle their grudges with others in different places not only in Churches, we can help bring Peace to our work place, our environment, in different gatherings, with the help and wisdom God has given us His children we can achieve this.
A peacemaker will be called a child of God which means will be cherished and loved by God. This is to tell us that there are many great benefits. We have collected twenty bible verses that spoke about making peace and helping people reconcile with their adversaries and also the benefits of being a peace maker.
1. Ephesians 4:1-10
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism.
2. James 3:17-18
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
3. Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
4. Matthew 22:37-40
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.
