Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about praise and worship.
Praising and worshipping God is our lifestyle and Way of life. Our worship is our weapon. Our praise is our shield . It’s how we fight and win our battles.
What do we think about whenever we do praise and worship?
Praise: is an Expression of thanks to or respect for God
Worship; is the practice of showing deep respect for and praying to God.
Praising and worshipping God is telling God that you admire and acknowledge who God is for all that He has done for you, how unfailing He has been to you and your family. Our God is really a great God. There is power in praising and worshipping God, it has so many benefits.
Do we remember the story of Paul and Silas in the prison?
Paul and Silas were thrown in the prison, instead of feeling devastated and confused they decided to worship and praise God instead of lamenting about their present situation and guess what they were freed, Hallelujah right!!!.
In worship and praise sessions shackles are broken, chains are broken, unfulfilled destiny begins to get fulfilled, destines that have been delayed are getting free and everyone gets answers to their long forgotten prayers and every stumbling blocks are moved .
Remember in children class when we were taught that while the children of God were praising and worshipping, the Wall of Jericho fell down flat. This shows that there’s a lot to gain when we praise God and we get speedy answers to our prayers. Read the bible verses below to get more understanding.
1. Psalm 150:1-6
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
2. Psalm 95:1-6
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
3. Psalm 96:1-9
Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens.
4. Psalm 103:1-4
Of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.
5. Psalm 100:1-5
A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! 6. Isaiah 25:1
O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
7. Daniel 4:37
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
8. Psalm 69:30
I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify him with thanksgiving.

13. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

14. Habakkuk 3:17-18
