Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about Confession of Sins

God sent His only begotten son to earth not only for those that are whole but for those that are sick too. We all have been enjoying God’s favor and love before we met Him that is since we have been in our mother’s womb. There is a popular saying that Jesus came for all of us{both the sick and unhealthy}. Sin is a stumbling block between Man and his Creator. It’s like a heavy load we carry, unless we free ourselves of this load we will keep getting tired and struggling.

The first step to be free is to accept Jesus as our personal Lord and savior. Accepting Jesus Christ into our lives is telling Him that Lord I no longer want to be the director of my Life, I’m handling over my personal affairs to you. Next step is to confess your sins and promise never to go back to your old ways.

To continue in this journey you seek wisdom because the word of God says if any man lacks wisdom let him ask The word of God is sharper than two edged sword, it has the power to bring you closer to God which will enable you have a personal conversation with God and from there you get your conviction which will strengthen your faith.

The bible verses below have been collected together to help you in this journey of confessing your sin which will draw you closer to your Creator and make you a new being. Remember old things have passed away.

 

1. 1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

7. Acts 2:38

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
