Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about prayer.

Prayer is key, it is important. Even when Jesus was on earth, the bible recorded that before He perform any miracle, Jesus will look up to heaven and pray to God first. This shows how we as God’s children should hold prayer in high regards. It is good to pray. The days are evil and the only way we can redeem ourselves and our family is through prayer.

Only God can save us but we need to open our mouth to pray first before God can answer us and help us with our request. It was recorded in the bible that when the prophets and prophetesses of God pray, miracles happen, chains are broken, those held captives are freed and many are given their testimonies. Todays topic is to encourage us to pray to God always because it is a way we can communicate with our maker.

1. Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

 

2. Matthew 6:6

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

 

3. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
