Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible Verses About Prayer.

Praying is very important. It’s essential we pray for as long as we are alive. The bible says all days are full of evil but we can overcome the evil days with prayer. Do you now how vain your life will be without prayer?.

Have you very imagined a life without communicating with people, I’m sure it will be boring and hopeless. Our life without prayer is like a marriage where the husband and wife are not communicating. Both might end up divorcing each other because they dont talk with each other and might kill the feeling they once had for each other. Jesus gave us a license”He said come unto me everyone of you that needs rest and peace of mind, I Will give you what you want”.

Imagine your boss at work gave you a cheque to ask him for whatever is you wanted from him and then kept the cheque hoping he knows what it is you wanted and will give you based on his own instinct, it won’t work that way. Unless you open ur mouth to ask for what you desire. When should we pray; when we are happy and unhappy, when we feel fulfilled and unfulfilled, the key word here is pray all the time.

The holy spirit is close to us waiting for us to make our request known to him,how will He know when you didn’t ask . Praying is important, it has many benefits we can imagine and that are also beyond our imagination. It gets us closer to God , we get to be gifted with fruits and gifts of he spirit such as discernment, wisdom,love,hope and so on. In this way we can conquer many challenges thrown our way. As a Christian that wants to grow and be deeply rooted in the word of God, prayer is a necessity.

The bible verses below we help us get to know how important praying is d how we should go about it.

 

1. Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

 

2. Matthew 6:6

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

 

3. Romans 8:26

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
